Unlike many other cities, Bangalore is not by the sea, nor does it have a big river. As a result, you will not find too many restaurants in Bangalore which are specifically dedicated to fish. And this is where The Fisherman’s Wharf comes into play.

The Fisherman’s Wharf is a Goan restaurant with an ambience of ‘Goa meets Bali’ style that will surely make you feel that you are close to the sea. They have used wooden boats, nets etc. for decorations with different sections named in Goan style. The different sections of this restaurant add to the appeal and give it a grand look. This restaurant has a lot of open spaces that adds to its charm.

This is the only restaurant that we have tried in Bangalore where we could choose the Raw Fish/ Crabs/ Lobsters and then they cooked it… And the pricing for these dishes are in Grams. They are also among the few restaurants in Bangalore that serves lobsters and crabs. If someone doesn’t love seafoods or fish, they do have other options too. They also have a pretty good liquor collection.

The service here is pretty good and this is a good place to visit with family.

If you love seafood, The Fisherman’s wharf is a must visit. Well, if you don’t, you should still visit for the ambience.

During the recent time, like many other restaurants in Bangalore, The Fisherman’s wharf also has menu in QR Codes placed in the tables, where you can scan the QR Code in your mobile and get the menu card, thereby reducing the contact point.

Please watch the YouTube video below for a virtual tour of this place.

The Fisherman’s Wharf, Bangalore is situated in Sarjapura, close to the IT corridor of the Outer Ring Road and has ample parking. It gets pretty crowded in the weekends, so, it is better to book your table in advance. We visited The Fisherman’s Wharf, Bangalore in Mid-November, 2020 and sanitization measures looked pretty decent in these pandemic times.
