Kiko Milano Ocean Feel Highlighter: Review

Kiko Milano Ocean Feel Highlighter: Review

My love for highlighters is immeasurable. One can bury me with highlighters and still, I will not get enough of it 😊 .

So recently, I picked up this Kiko Milano Ocean Feel Highlighter from their own store in Phoenix Marketcity, Bangalore.

I have already used it for couple of times and hence thought of sharing my experience about this highlighter.

How much does this highlighter cost?

MRP of the product is 2,390 Indian Rupees for 8.5 gram. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)

How did I feel about this highlighter at first glance?

The Golden cover and the textured case of the highlighter complements the product perfectly. The case has an inbuilt mirror inside.

This is Golden in Shade (The one I bought is in shade 01 Golden Vibes) and it is a Powder Based highlighter.

The unique pressing of the highlighter makes it appear like a glittery wave and therefore, more appealing.

Some detailed insights and swatches-

When I buy any product like Highlighter or Blush, I generally check on three things.

1.How well the product blends with my skin.

2.How does it feel on the skin – Is it Light or Heavy?

3.Product Pigment and if the product can be used for both day and night with little moderation of quantity and brush strokes.

Now, lets see how well this highlighter stands on the above parameters –

1.This highlighter blends well with skin, almost not leaving any visible patches or granules.

2.As it is powder based highlighter, its light and feels almost nothing on the skin.

3.As you can see below, I have done two swatches, in the first one (from above) I have taken little more quantity of product than the second one.

So, the pigment of the product can be controlled easily depending on how much quantity I am taking on the brush/finger and hence makes it compatible for both day and night usage.

Other comments

As this is a highly pigmented highlighter, it might take two or three trials to understand how much product one needs to get the desired Look. So, I would strongly suggest that you should do at least one trial make up before the actual event.

My rating

My rating is 4 out of 5.
