No-brainer, it’s “SALE SEASON” 😊 😊
Sale-shopping on Store is fun, but at the same time it can be challenging as well. Specifically, when it comes to shopping clothes on sale. There are lists of things like-long queue in the trial room, unorganized stocks etc. can make the overall experience bittersweet.
So, in this post I will discuss few points which I follow, every time I go for clothes shopping at the time of Sale:
1.Prior Research – Nowadays almost every brand and store have their online presence. Do a quick research on their size-measurements to get an idea of which size you need to pick. In case the store doesn’t have any online presence, try to know your own measurements beforehand. Which might not only save your time but also save you from struggling in the trial room.
2.Wish List – Try to make a wish list before you step inside the store. Discounts can be “alluring” and if you don’t decide what you need to buy prior, you might end up buying clothes which you do not require at all.
3.Liking Scale – Make a mental scale of “Liking” and pick up only those clothes for trial which falls in above average category. This will save your time and effort. I know this trick is difficult to execute, but trust me it is effective.
4.Ask for Help – It is obvious to have few doubts while clothes shopping. Like sometime it becomes difficult to understand which item is on what percentage discount if the discount tag is not attached with the apparel. In these kinds of situations don’t hesitate to ask for help from the authorized store persons.
5.Check on Defects – Because the footfall is higher at the time of sale, sometimes few stocks remain unmaintained. Therefore, it is very important to check on defects before you make the final payment.
6.Keep your Payment Ready– Before your turn comes keep your payment ready. If you are paying by card remember the pin number to avoid failed transaction due to wrong pin and if you are paying by cash keep your approximate cash amount ready. This will help you finish your transaction quickly without keeping a long queue waiting behind you.
