I feel a good makeup remover is that which removes stubborn makeup effortlessly and also doesn’t hurt the skin in the process of doing so.
I have been using CLINIQUE Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips (Read the review here: https://styletravelandmore.com/clinique-makeup-remover/ ) for quite some time. Though I was happy with this makeup remover, but I wanted try out some other makeup removers as well. So, I bought Colorbar Xpert Micellar Bi Phase Makeup Remover and tried it few times so far.
So, let’s see how it performed.
Cost: MRP for 150 ml is 399 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: This Colorbar Xpert Micellar Bi Phase Makeup Remover comes in decent packaging and has nice aroma.
How Do I use this Product: I shake the bottle very well to mix the two phases and then take it on cotton pad to remove my makeup.
Please note, to remove stubborn makeup I hold the Makeup Remover-soaked cotton pad for few seconds (on the stubborn makeup) and then start removing it- this way it takes little less effort to remove stubborn makeup.
My Overall Experience about this Product: I have tested this Makeup Remover with few of my most stubborn makeup products and according to my testing it requires almost 7-8 swipes to completely remove those makeup products.
I have noticed that it irritates my eyes a bit if the Product gets inside my eyes. So, I need to be a little careful while I am pouring the Product on cotton pad, so that no excess amount is poured, which may cause irritation to my eyes if it’s gets inside.
Also, I have observed the mixture (which I get by shaking and mixing the two phases) goes back to its original two phased structure very quickly. So, I need keep on mixing these two phases every time before I pour it on cotton pad.
According to me, this Makeup Remover works fine. However, it requires a little bit of effort to make it work.
My Rating: 3.6 out of 5.
