In this article, we will share our experience of visiting Chariot Beach Resort in Mahabalipuram in August 2023.
This pet friendly beach resort is extremely well maintained. The property is huge and there is ample parking space. It has a Golf Course just by the sea. The beach is wide and very clean. Since we were travelling with our dog, and pets are allowed only in cottages, we stayed in the Sea View Cottage. The room was huge and well maintained.
The location of the resort is very good and it is right next to the famous Pancha Rathas (5 Rathas) monument complex.
They have lights in the beach and one can sit by the sea even in the evenings when it gets cooler.
The food is decent but room service is very slow.

Overall, if you are looking for a pet friendly beach Resort in Mahabalipuram, this is probably the best option.
If you are travelling with your pet, it is better to check with the property once before booking as the policies might change and, in some cases, only a few specific rooms are pet friendly.
