I remember, as a teenager I used to crave for colourful eyeliner and kajal…however those times only shade available for kajal and eyeliner in the market was predominantly Black. So, I used to use my colourful lipliners as kajal and eyeliner…easy fix for quirky cravings 😊.
So, when I saw this Colorbar All-Rounder Pencil, which claims to be multifunctional I had to give it a try.
Cost: MRP for 1 Pack (each pack contains 1 pencil – net weight 0.29g) is 450 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: This Colorbar All-Rounder Pencil is twist up/ roll up type of pencil. I bought two shades Squishy Lime (008) and Sexy Silhouette (009).
How Do I use this Product: As per the usage mentioned on the packs I bought, this Product can be used as Kajal, Lipliner, Eyeliner, Eyeshadow.
However, I love to use Sexy Silhouette as lipliner, kajal and eyeliner and Squishy Lime as eyeliner to create vibrant looks 😊.
After application of this Product, I give it some time to settle.
I have created the below Looks using Colorbar All-Rounder Pencil.
My Overall Experience about this Product: The texture of this Product is Creamy- of course not super creamy (because the Product is in pencil form) but creamy enough of its kind.
I feel the pigment of this Product varies a bit according to the shade. For example, the Sexy Silhouette shade has medium pigment and approximately 3 swipes are enough to get the desired look, however, Squishy Lime has low pigment and it requires 5-6 swipes to get the desired finish.
This Product is Waterproof and doesn’t smudge. Also, it doesn’t irritate my eyes even when I use it on waterline as kajal.
As you can see in the above photos, I can easily achieve vibrant look with this Product and also it doesn’t look patchy.
Also, as this is a twist up/ roll up type pencil there is no product wastage due to sharpening.
Though the usage mentioned on the pack says this Product can be used as eyeshadow as well, according to my testing using it as an eyeshadow is a bit difficult due to its less blendability. If it is applied as very thick eyeliner it gives a finish which is a bit closer to eyeshadow however not similar.
I feel this Colorbar All-Rounder Pencil is a decent choice for those who wants create different looks with funky and pop colours.
