“I feel, I have Cosmic Connection with Cosmetics. Because even if I don’t find them, they find me.”- This is what I say to those, who says I have too many cosmetics. Because the truth is for me, there is nothing called “too many” when it comes to cosmetics and I always keep the door open for them 😊
So, I bought this COLORBAR Magic Mirror Kit more than a year ago. I used it many times immediately after I bought it. Though, eventually I forgot about it, my bad ☹.
As I was scrolling my phone recently, I saw an ad about this Product and got reminded of it.
I bought this COLORBAR Magic Mirror Kit more than a year ago and I cannot comment if there are any changes in the Product in recent times (Though it looked same in the ad I saw recently and that is the reason I thought of reviewing it. ), I feel this review will help you to understand this Product in a better way.
Cost: MRP is 650 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: The packaging is Catchy and Usage Instruction is mentioned on the cover box.
One Kit contains-1 Magic Mirror Top Coat, 1 Magic Mirror Powder, 2 Applicators.
How Do I use this Product: I follow the steps mentioned on the cover box of COLORBAR Magic Mirror Kit.
I apply two coats of nail polish and let it dry. After it’s adequately dried, I take little amount of the Magic Mirror Powder on the applicator and work it on the top of nail polish. After I achieve the desired finish, I apply Magic Mirror Top Coat.
My Overall Experience about this Product: The thing which I like most like about this Product, is the Amazing Finish it provides to my nails. My nails really look vibrant with the application of this Product. It requires very less amount of Magic Mirror Powder to achieve the desired look and the excess powder gets washed off easily with water without creating any mess.
However, it took me a little time to understand how to use this Product. First of all, the nail polish needs to be adequately dried – If it’s too dried the Magic Mirror Powder will not set properly on the top of it and if it is less dried it will get smudged. Also, it took me a little time to understand how much pressure I need to put while pressing the Magic Mirror Powder on nail polish.
The Final Look or Finished Look varies depending on the colour and/or texture of the nail polish I am using and I use those nail polishes which are smooth and doesn’t have any material (glitter etc.) mixed with it. The Magic Mirror Powder might not get applied correctly if the base is not smooth.
The Finished Look stays around 10 to 12 hours, provided I am not washing my nails frequently or rubbing them against towel etc. Also, I tried to revive the Look using the Magic Mirror Powder after this duration of 10-12 hours, however it did not work for me.
Other Comments: The Finished Look varies depending on the colour and/or texture of the nail polish you are using along with this Product. If you are using any nail polish for the first time with this Product and not sure how the Finished Look will appear, I would suggest you to create the ‘Finished Look’ on One nail first and once you are fine with it go for the other nails. This will save your time.
My Rating: 4 out of 5.
