COLORBAR MOON LAVA LIQUID EYESHADOW: REVIEW

COLORBAR MOON LAVA LIQUID EYESHADOW: REVIEW

I am a “makeupholic” and am proud to be one 😊.

I like to be daring and experimental when it comes to makeup and I love trying new products.

So recently I bought COLORBAR MOON LAVA LIQUID EYESHADOW (shade GALAXY 005) and this is my first ever Liquid Eyeshadow.

Because I already have used this Liquid Eyeshadow a few times now, I think it is the perfect time to review this product.

Cost: MRP for 3.5g is 850 Indian Rupees (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased).

Description:  This is a Highly Pigmented Liquid Eyeshadow. It is Lightweight and filled with Glitters.

The one I bought (Shade GALAXY 005) has Pink and Golden Glitters.

My Overall Experience:

This is a Lightweight and Non-sticky Liquid Eyeshadow and it doesn’t make my eyelids heavy. It is Highly Pigmented and Glittery, hence one coat is enough at a time. It dries fast, so I need not wait long for it to dry. This Liquid Eyeshadow is good for evening parties and events. Also, it is easy to apply and spreads equally without much effort.

The applicator could have been a bit thinner, so that it becomes easy to apply on the corners of eyes as well.

My Take on Liquid Eyeshadow: I have mentioned earlier this is my first-time experience with Liquid Eyeshadow. So, I am tempted to write few lines about my experience. Read next few lines as a general comment and not specific to this brand.

I feel liquid eyeshadows are easy to apply, however, if I want to play with colours the scope is limited. For the simple reason, I think if I try to blend two or three Liquid Eyeshadows, it will become a bit heavy and messy. Also, I have tested- If I try to add some colour (on top/blend) using Powder Eyeshadow the entire texture becomes cakey. However, If I create the base with Powder Eyeshadow and use Liquid Eyeshadow on the top of that, it works fine.

Other Comments:As I have mentioned earlier, avoid blending Liquid Eyeshadow with Powder Eyeshadow, it will become cakey. However, you can create the base with Powder Eyeshadow and then use Liquid Eyeshadow on top of it.

My Rating: 3.9 out of 5.
