After longing it for quite sometime, finally I could experiment with Crazy Color Semi – Permanent Hair Color Cream.
In this article, I will talk about my experience about this Semi – Permanent Hair Color. I really hope this article will help all of you, who loves to experiment with different hair colors now and then and at the same time do not want to spend a lot of money in expensive hair salons (like me 😊).
Cost: MRP for 100 ml is 750 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: I bought this Crazy Color Semi – Permanent Hair Color Cream in shade Vermillion Red (No. 40).
How did I use this Product: Before applying this Semi – Permanent Hair Color, hair needs to be Pre-lightened in order to get the desired/ best result out of this Product. My hair was already pre-lightened. I applied this Product directly on clean dry hair and kept it for at least 40-50 minutes. After this duration I washed my hair only with water (No shampoo) and kept rinsing it until the water became clear (ran without any colour). Then I conditioned my hair with my regular conditioner.
(Please Note: The direction of how to use this Product mentioned on the bottle was, after shampooing, towel dry hair and apply this Product. However, the instructional video from the site I bought this Product and few other videos I watched, directed to apply it on dry hair. So, I applied it on clean dry hair as it was more convenient to me.)

My Overall Experience about this Product: The color turned out excellently on my hair. The first picture below shows my hair before applying this Product and the second picture shows my hair after applying this Product, taken in room light and sunlight.
As my hair was already pre-lightened, the application was pretty easy and hassle free.
As on today, I have completed one more wash after the initial wash associated with the coloring process. This second time, I have washed my hair with my regular shampoo concentrating only on scalp ( to avoid directly shampooing the colored hairs) and conditioned my full hair with my regular conditioner after that. Below picture is a comparison of my hair color after the initial coloring and after second time wash, both are taken in room light.
This Crazy Color Semi- Permanent Hair Color Cream doesn’t have any strong chemical smell and also it hadn’t made my hair rough/ dry.
It took me only around half a bottle of Product to achieve this look 😊.
After each wash, I noticed good amount color is getting washed away. However, can’t complain as it is a Semi – Permanent Hair Color.
Also, immediately after wash I need to be careful because color gets transferred to clothes from hair when hair is wet.
In nutshell, I am quite happy with the result of this Product. Frankly, I didn’t expect to achieve this vibrant look at home and of course, in a cost-effective way.
Other Comments: As I have mentioned earlier, hair needs to be pre-lightened to achieve the best result out of this Product. However, you might have to purchase pre-lightening kit separately as it doesn’t come with this Product.
