In the article, we will share our experience of travelling to the Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Kences Palm Beach in Mahabalipuram which we visited in December, 2022.
We love travelling with our dog, and therefore we are always searching for good places to stay which are pet friendly and one of such searches led us to this hotel. This beach resort is in Mahabalipuram on the East Coast Road.
The property is pretty big and has ample parking. The beach is adjacent to the property, however it wasn’t clean when we visited. Overall, the property is very well maintained, however, the service can be improved. We visited the resort during Christmas when it was very crowded and they had a Christmas Dinner Party as well, which could be the reason for inefficient service.
The Complimentary Breakfast had a decent spread.

Overall, if you are looking for a pet friendly beach resort in Southern India, this is a pretty good option. If you are travelling with your pet, it is better to check with the hotel once before booking as the policies might change and, in some cases, only a few specific rooms are pet friendly.
