I started using eye cream primarily because I suffer from eye fatigue. However, with time I realized that a good eye cream offers many other benefits (like minimizing under eye creases) along with reducing tiredness of eyes. Hence, eye cream has become an essential part of my skin care routine.
I bought this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado approximately two months ago and I am using it since then.
Cost: MRP for 14 gm is 2500 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: It has Thick Creamy texture and Light Green colour (similar to Avocado). Also, it has Very Mild smell.
How Do I use this Product: I simply follow the instruction showed in Kiehl’s instructional video for this Product – I will tell you why this is the best way in later part of this article.
I take very little amount of this Product on tip of my ring finger and then rub it with another ring finger (tip) for few seconds. After that I dab it around my eye areas very gently.
My Overall Experience about this Product: I want to start off this section by telling you why it is important to understand and follow the proper usage direction while using this Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.
Initially, I didn’t see Kiehl’s instructional video for this Product. I used to simply take little amount of Product on tip of my ring finger and without giving it a rub with another ring finger, I used to apply it directly around eye areas. The Eye cream used to get applied as a white layer and slowly with time it used to get absorbed. Obviously, I would not call it an optimal experience, because I had to wait longer for the Product to get absorbed. However, after following their instruction properly the Eye cream gets applied smoothly (doesn’t create white layer) and absorbs faster.
Now if I talk about the texture of this Product, I feel it is unique. Apart from being Thick, Super Creamy, the texture also has an element of Elasticity.
This Product is Super Hydrating. My eye areas feel smooth and moisturized. Also, it provides a soothing feeling immediately after application.
Very little amount of product is required – approximately half of pea-sized amount is enough for both the eyes.
In nutshell this Eye cream is Luxurious.
Other Comments: According to my experience, this Product will not get applied correctly if there is any water present either on skin or finger.
