Isn’t it terribly annoying when we spend immense amount of effort to achieve that perfect shape of eyeliner and after all that effort, a tiny drop of water smudges the eyeliner? Of course, it is.
This is the only reason I feel very happy when the eyeliner I pick out also happens to be waterproof.
I was searching for a Black Eyeliner for quite some time and when I swatched this Kiko Milano Definition Waterproof Eyeliner for the first time in the Kiko Milano store, I felt this is the one.
Now that I have used it for quite a number of times, I am ready to talk about my experience about this product.
Cost: MRP of this Product (Net Quantity 4.5 ml) is 790 Indian Rupees (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: This is a Liquid Eyeliner. As I have mentioned earlier the colour of this Eyeliner is Black and it comes with a thin bristle brush/ applicator.
My Overall Experience about this Product: The consistency is pretty thick and the pigment is very high.
I have to mention that the Eyeliner feels a bit heavy and sticky when I am applying it and as the consistency is thick it takes longer time to get completely dry. I also need to be careful until it is completely dried, otherwise the Eyeliner gets spread to unwanted parts of my eyelids and spoils my eyeshadow ☹. However, once it is completely dried and settled, it gives Awesome Gorgeous Shiny finish (Please note, by shiny I mean the finish is as such that it reflects light. It doesn’t have glitter or shimmer.)
As the name suggests of course this Eyeliner is Waterproof. However, I wanted to see how it behaves when it comes in contact with water. So, I applied it on my hand, let it dry completely and then placed it under the running water tap. I was amazed, that it didn’t even move a bit and stayed as it is 😊.
I also, wanted to check how it reacts to sweat, hence I applied this Eyeliner and went to gym once (as I live in relatively cooler place, normally, I don’t sweat, so I had to wear it to gym for testing). As per my testing it can easily survive minor to moderate sweating (I couldn’t test it under heavy sweating.)
Another good thing, it doesn’t get peeled off easily.
While removing this Eyeliner I have to use makeup remover, as my cream cleanser cannot remove this Product. However, though this Eyeliner has stubborn nature it doesn’t stain my skin.
In nutshell, I feel I have made a good choice by investing in this Kiko Milano Definition Waterproof Eyeliner.
Other Comments: In order to achieve clean application without any mess, get rid of the excess product from the brush/ applicator and then apply it
My Rating: 4.2 out of 5.
