When it comes to makeup, setting spray is the product which holds it all together. For me, and I believe for every makeup lover without a setting spray, makeup is incomplete. L.A. Girl Shimmer Spray is the setting spray I am using currently and, in this article, I will talk about my experience of using this Product.

Description: I bought L.A. Girl Shimmer Spray in Rose Gold (GFS919). This Product has a very refreshing aroma.
How Do I use this Product: This L.A. Girl Shimmer Spray is a Finishing Spray (Setting Spray) for face and body, however so far I have used it only on my face. I use this Product once I have achieved my desired looks. Before I use this Product, I shake it really well so that the shimmery particles get mixed with the liquid and then I spray it on my face from a distance (approximately 12 to 15 inches) closing my eyes. I then give it sometime to settle and dry completely, also I keep my eyes closed until it is completely dried to avoid any particles going into my eyes.
My Overall Experience about this Product: After I spray this L.A. Girl Shimmer Spray on my skin, I can visibly see the difference on my finished makeup looks. It seals different layers of the makeup products (which I use in process of achieving my finished looks) together and makes the finished looks appear more even and settled. I must also emphasize, that this Product performs excellently when it comes to setting powder-based makeup products 😊. Now because this Setting Spray also has very fine shimmery particles added to it, it gives kind of glowy finish which is subtle and definitely doesn’t look extra 😊. The effect of this Product stays at least around 10 hours.
As we are wearing masks in these times, I have to mention that this Product does not prevent makeup from being transferred to the mask, however according to my observation it definitely helps finished makeup looks to survive friction of the mask to some extent and makeup becomes less patchy.
The nice refreshing aroma of this Product definitely adds to a positive experience.
Now, I need to be very careful while spraying this Product on my face. If I spray extra Product or if I spray this Product from too close to my face it tampers my finished looks. I need to be extra careful if I am not wearing waterproof eye makeup, because I had the experience of my mascara melting when I sprayed little extra Product. Also, as I have mentioned earlier, I make sure I keep my eyes closed until this Setting Spray is completely dried and settled.  Â
