Lips don’t lie? If you ask me, I would say it’s true. People who know me… know that by nature, I am unpredictable. But, it’s not much of a task to understand my prevailing mood. If you are wondering how, I would say “Just by observing the Lip Colour I am wearing 😊”. Yeh, you read it right…my Lip Colours truly reflect my mood 😊.
So, I like my lips to be shiny and glossy when I am in light and funky mood.
This NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss is amongst one of my frequently used lip glosses and I have been using it for almost 8 months now.
Cost: As I have been using this pack for 8 months now … I have misplaced the MRP tag on the Product ☹. However, I checked the current price from the site I bought – it is 550 Indian Rupees for 8 ml.
Description: I bought the shade Cranberry Biscotti (BLG24). The packaging is very lightweight, also it has a medium size Doe Foot applicator. It smells almost like Vanilla.
How Do I use this Product: I use this NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss to create different types of look.
To create subtle look, I just take little amount of lip gloss on my finger tip and dab it on my lips.
To create vibrant look, I use this lip gloss directly on my lips, it gives a translucent shiny finish.
Also, to create bold glam look, I use it as a topper on matte finish lipstick.
My Overall Experience about this Product: The pigment of this lip gloss is medium. It has a bit of thick consistency. When applied on lips it feels little sticky. However, at the same time it also feels smooth and buttery.
I like the fact, that it can be used to create so many types of look. Also, the fragrance is really yummy.
This lip gloss stays long if I am not eating or drinking anything after wearing it. However, as it is not transfer proof, If I eat or drink anything after wearing it (which I am not supposed to), it starts to fade away.
Other Comments: I have noticed, that few websites have mentioned that this NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss has sweet taste. However, it (at least the one I have) doesn’t have any taste.
