When it comes to skin care, my husband possesses exactly opposite habit than me…when I try to be ultra-careful about the products I am using on my face and body, I often witnessed (or caught 😉) my husband using the body cream or body lotion on his face as well. After multiple failed attempts to inculcate the habit in him of using separate cream/ lotion on face and body, I finally decided to search for a cream/ lotion which he can use on body as well as face.

So, my husband has been using this Product (on his face and body) for more than a month now. To understand and assess this Product’s performance I have not only considered my husband’s user experience, but also, I have tested its performance on my father’s skin and as well as on my skin.
So, let’s see how this PALMER’S Cocoa Butter Formula Men Body & Face Lotion performed.

Description: The colour of this Product is almost similar to the colour of butter… which is kind of Creamy Yellow.
Overall Experience about this Product: Usually when we think about lotion, we assume that the consistency would be a bit thin. However, the consistency of this PALMER’S Cocoa Butter Formula Men Body & Face Lotion is quite thick…in fact, the consistency is so thick that the bottle needs to be pressed hard to squeeze the Product out of it.
The good thing is, though the consistency is quite thick, it doesn’t feel that heavy on skin. It feels a little bit sticky only when it is slathered on.
This Product is really good for dry skin. I have tested this Product on my father’s skin, which was super dry and I could see his skin texture getting better after using this Product few times.
Now according to directions of usage mentioned on the Product, this PALMER’S Cocoa Butter Formula Men Body & Face Lotion may also be used after shaving. However, according to my husband’s experience this Product doesn’t live up to the expectations of an after shave product, especially for those who love to use typical after shave products.
This Product gets absorbed into skin without much effort. However, skin shouldn’t be wet while using this Product… if skin is wet it will take longer time to get fully absorbed into the skin.
The aroma of this Product is usual scent which we generally expect from any cocoa butter product. It doesn’t have typical masculine scent.
Overall, I feel this a decent Product for face and body.
