Choosing a Lip Color, to wear under a mask…has literally become a task… (ahh, it rhymed 😊).
Joking apart, this is a real issue we Lipstick or Lip Color lovers are facing nowadays.
Currently, I am in a searching spree of Lipsticks or Lip Colors which I can wear under my mask.
So, when I visited Dubai earlier this year, I started searching for Lip Products and finally bought Rude Cosmetics Notorious Liquid Lip Color.

Cost: I paid around AED 19 for each Product (Net Weight 2.5 ml).
Description: I bought three shades of Rude Cosmetics Notorious Liquid Lip Color – Sinister Villain (65505), Hell To Pay (65506) and Radical Red (65507). All these shades are Matte Finish. Also, they have Doe Foot applicator.
How Do I use this Product: I use this Lip Color on clean lips. Also, before I apply this Lip Color, I make sure that my lips are not oily.
I need 2 to 3 coats to get my desired finish.
My Overall Experience about this Product: This Rude Cosmetics Notorious Liquid Lip Color has high pigment.
First observation about this Lip Color which I feel is pretty important, is about its usage. I have noticed that lips need to be completely oil-free when I am using this Product. If I use even little bit of lip balm or if my lips are little bit oily, the texture of this Lip Color changes when I apply it. It becomes sticky and doesn’t dry properly. So, before I use this Product, I clean my lips and make it completely oil-free.
This Lip Color is Lightweight and dries fast. However, my lips feel little dry when I use this Product.
One surprising observation is, though this Lip Color is smudgeproof and water-resistant, it starts to fade away quickly when I eat or drink even a little. I know you might find it funny, but it fades away even when I talk too much ☹. This is the reason I cannot consider wearing it for longer duration
When I wear it under mask, though this Lip Color doesn’t smudge but sometimes it gets transferred to the mask.
To sum up, I am not impressed by this Product’s performance. Though it gives a good finish immediately after application, however, after an hour or so, it starts to look faded. To be specific, after sometime, few parts of my lips become bare (left with no Lip Color) and so, my lips start to look uneven.
Other Comments: I feel this Product might be a little uncomfortable for them, whose lips are naturally dry.
