In this article, we will share our experience of visiting Sherlock in Ooty. This is one of the few pet friendly resorts in Ooty.
We visited the resort in June, 2024 and the weather was great when we visited with a few occasional spells of rain. We stayed in the Mountain View Room. It was slightly off campus and had the parking just beside the room.

The buffet breakfast, which was included in the package was decent.
The resort also has a beautiful, well-maintained lawn. Our fur baby loved running on the lawn. Overall, Sherlock is a great well-maintained place to stay in Ooty. If you are travelling with your pet, it is suggested to check with them before travelling as the pet policies might change.
Apart from the Touristy places in Ooty, if you want to go to a small marketplace with nice pet friendly restaurants and cafes, you can visit Little Earth Square. This is a very nice place to relax with beautiful restaurants and cafes. It also has a few boutiques and a convenience store which also sells gift items and local artisanal products. Little Earth Square is located in the heart of Ooty.
