Because skin care is incomplete without body care, from last few years I have made a habit of using Body Massage Oil at least once a week.
I have been using The Body Shop Spa Of The World French Lavender Massage Oil for few months now and let’s see how it treated me 😊.
Cost: MRP for 170 ml is 1895 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: As I have mentioned earlier this is a Body Massage Oil and belongs to The Body Shop’s Spa Of The World range.
My Overall Experience about this Product: Explaining the consistency of this Massage Oil in one word is a bit difficult- because it feels a bit dense than what I consider as lightweight, however it is much lesser dense than what I consider as thick. It takes a little time to get fully absorbed. However, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on skin and feels silky to touch.
I prefer to rinse my skin only with water after using this Massage Oil, this way only the excess oil gets removed. This Body Massage Oil keeps my skin soft and my skin feels adequately hydrated for long hours (almost the entire day) and I don’t feel the need of using body cream the particular day I am using this Massage Oil (Just to mention, my skin type is normal and I do not have any dryness related issues).
In terms of fragrance, I have expected it to be captivating, especially because this Massage Oil belongs to the Spa Of The World range and The Body Shop has positioned the scent of this Massage Oil as a key offering. However, I must admit that the aroma of this The Body Shop Spa Of The World French Lavender Massage Oil is too mild and for me, it does a very little to enhance the overall experience.
My Rating: 3.9 out of 5.
