A while ago, when I first came across the concept of Hair Perfume or Hair Mist, I found it really fascinating. Because, all along I have considered perfume or fragrance mist as a product which is meant only for skin. But when I think deeply, it makes sense to have perfume or fragrance mist for hair as well because it would be tragic if someone’s skin smells good but hair smells otherwise 😉.
I have been using different Hair Perfume or Hair Mist for a while now and The Body Shop Pomegranate & Red Berries Hair & Body Mist is one of my recent purchase.
Cost: MRP for 150 ml is 1495 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: This is a Fragrance Mist. This Product comes in a colourful packaging and it is transparent. As the name suggests, it has Fruity aroma.
How Do I use this Product: I spray The Body Shop Pomegranate & Red Berries Hair & Body Mist in short bursts on to my body and hair from one arm distance (If I spray it from too close, the Product will start to drip).
Also, please note I use it on completely dry hair.
My Overall Experience about this Product: The aroma of this Product is soothing, gentle and also a bit mild. Because the aroma is mild, I need to apply it a little bit more than similar kind of products.
Though this Product claims to be multi-purpose (for both hair and body), according to my experience it is more suited for hair than for skin/ body. The reason I am saying this, because the stay duration of this Product is far less on skin than on hair. On skin, it stays around 3 hours. However, in this duration it fades rapidly and by the 3rd hour there is almost nothing I can smell on skin. On the other hand, it stays around 6 hours on hair and in this duration initially (approximately 3 hours) its presence is quite prominent and then slowly it fades away.
I must admit, before I started using this Product on my hair, I was concerned whether it would react to my hair and make it sticky or impact the texture of my hair. However, till date this Product has not made my hair sticky or has not impacted the texture of my hair in any adverse way.
Also, it doesn’t leave any residue on my hair or on my skin.
