We all know Scrubbing is an important part of our skin care regime. However, I feel just adding a Scrub is not enough for healthy skin. Like other important things in life, a Scrub must also go through a set of Quality Checks before it can make it to anyone’s skin care regime.
Few important factors which I consider as a part of my quality checks for a Daily Face Scrub are:
1.Sizes and Quality of the Granules – I prefer Micro Granules when it comes to Daily Face Scrub. Also, Granules should not have rough edges. This quality check, makes sure that the Face Scrub doesn’t hurt my skin.
2. Concentration of Granules per Pea-Sized amount- I always prefer medium concentration of Granules per Pea-Sized amount of Face Scrub. This quality check, makes sure that I am not over exfoliating my skin.
3.Quality of the Base Product
Upon passing these quality checks, The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish has become a part my skin care regime and I have been using it for more than a year now.
In this post, I will give you my insights about this Product.
Cost: MRP for 125ml is 1295 Indian Rupees. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: The base of this product is transparent gel face cleanser (gel face wash) and it has Micro Granules. Also, it has mild Orange/Citric aroma.
How do I use this Product: I use this product Once a day on wet face, gently massage and then rinse it off with water.
(Note: I do not use this product in a particular day when I am using any other product which also exfoliates, like Face Pack/Peel Off Mask – To avoid over exfoliation.)
My Overall Experience about this Product: This Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish gently exfoliates and cleanses.
Upon massaging it mildly lathers up and after I wash it off my skin doesn’t feel dry or stretchy. Also, the citric aroma perks up my mood instantly when I use this product.
For me, pea-sized amount is sufficient at a time. According to my usage one pack of this product lasts at least for two months.
Other Comments: Use this product on wet face, so that it spreads easily. Also avoid the eye-area while using this product.
