Today, I am going to write about a product, which has been a rescuer when it comes to my eye area related problem.
Though The Body Shop Vitamin E Refreshing Eyes Cube is one of my recent purchase, it definitely has got a place in my list of daily essential personal care products. Hence, I somehow feel obligated to talk about this product.
Now before I start reviewing this product, I must mention that as far as I remember this is my second eye care product (I have used an eye gel before, but it was ages ago). So, I cannot compare this product with other eye care products. However, I will definitely try to give you a glimpse how this product has helped me with my eye area related concerns.
Cost: MRP is 995 Indian Rupees for 4 grams. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: It comes in a stick and it is solid (Refer to the image below).
It has very light pink colour and very mild fragrance.
What were my Concerns:
My eyes used feel kind of burning /hot due to excessive use of computer, so I was solely searching for a product which can provide cooling affect to my eyes. (It doesn’t mean I don’t have dark circles. I do have dark circles, but I do not consider it as one of my concerns, because I have concealers too.) So, when the sales person in the store explained this product to me, I thought this might be the one I require and I bought it.
How do I use this Product: Any time I feel my eyes are tired due to excess usage of computer, I use this Vitamin E Refreshing Eyes Cube. I Just swipe it under my eyes and on the lids.
My Overall Experience:
It not only gives a soothing effect to my eyes, I realized my texture of under eye skin has become smoother because of the hydration its providing.
As the face cream I use, clearly asks to avoid the eye area. Sometimes the eye areas become dry and creasy. This product helps to keep them perfectly hydrated.
Other Comments: As I have mentioned earlier this product provides excellent hydration and soothing effect. However, as I was informed by the sales person this might not be the perfect one for issues like dark circles.
My Rating: 4.2 out of 5.
