Well, the Year End is here and many of you would be taking time off from your work to spend some time with the family. This would also be a good time to watch a few movies at home.
In this article, we have listed down a few of the movies that you can watch with your family. We will also list down if they are available in Netflix, Amazon Prime or YouTube. We are checking the availabilities based on India, some of the movies, might not be available, if you are in any other country. We don’t support piracy and would urge you to watch the original content. Also, the video and audio quality are way much better in the original content.
Home Alone Series: You cannot get bored watching Home Alone, can you? There are 5 movies in this series now with the first one, certainly, being a Cult Movie in it’s own. The later versions aren’t close to the greatness of the first one, however, they can certainly be watched with the family and the kids would love them. This series is not available in Netflix or Amazon Prime, but the first 3 are available for Buy or Rent in YouTube.
The Polar Express: This animated movie was the most expensive animated movie in 2004 and lives up to its expectations. It’s the story of a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus, embarks on a journey to the North Pole which will change his life and emphasises on the power to Believe. It has Tom Hanks’ voice on an important role. Definitely worth a watch for kids and the kid within you. The Polar Express is available in Netflix and Amazon Prime. Arthur Christmas: This animated movie is about Arthur Claus, who is the son of Father Christmas and his journey to deliver the gift to a child who was missed by Santa. This feel good, happy movie strives to uphold the spirit of Christmas. Arthur Christmas is available for Buy or Rent in YouTube and it also available in Netflix.
Elf: Directed by the great director, Jon Favreau has Will Ferell in the lead role. This movie is about a human raised by elves, goes to New York to meet his biological father and spreads Christmas Cheer to everyone around him. This is another Feel Good, Happy going Christmassy movie that you can watch with your family. Elf is available in Netflix.
Shrek Series: This animated movie series portrays a unique Love Story between an Ogre “Shrek” and Princess “Fiona”. This series is kind of Addictive, and urges you to watch the others, if you watch the first. The amazing Sound Track is definitely one of the best parts of this movie series. This movie series has voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz. This Series is available in Amazon Prime, Netflix and Buy or Rent in YouTube.
