If you are staying at home and wondering what to binge watch on, here is a list that you can refer to. We have listed these series which can be watched fine on SD as well since they are not too heavy on graphics, in case if you want to save some data/bandwidth:
Breaking Bad: This is undoubtedly the best ecosystem of TV Series that I have seen so far. Breaking Bad is the Story of a Chemistry Teacher who gets diagnosed with Cancer and gets involved in cooking Drugs. The transformation of the main character, Walter White is unbelievably believable. Terrific Acting, Crisp Scripts and the and apt climax gives it a IMDB rating of 9.5. Breaking Bad comprises of 5 seasons and has 62 episodes.
Breaking Bad had 2 spin-offs so far.
Better Call Saul: This is the story of one of the main characters of Breaking Bad, the shady lawyer Saul Goodman. For me, in some places this series is even better than Breaking Bad. It is less dark and more crisp. A lot of characters from Breaking Bad appear here but it never feels like a repeat of Breaking Bad. This too, has a very high IMDB rating. This is on ongoing Series. Season 5 is being aired now and overall there are supposed to be 6 Series.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie: This one takes off just where Breaking Bad ended and tries to give a closure to Jesse Pinkman. This one, is however not as good as Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul Series.
The entire Breaking Bad ecosystem in available in Netflix.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: If you love actions, this speedy thriller is what you need. It’s the story of a CIA Analyst and how he gets involved in stopping terror. Jack Ryan had 2 Seasons so far comprising of 8 episodes in each season and is available in Amazon Prime.
The Purge: The Purge is a psychological Thriller. This ecosystem became pretty popular and resulting in a TV Series and 4 movies so far and the 5th one should be releasing this year. It’s about a new USA, where in order to reduce crimes throughout the year, they legalise all kinds of crimes including Murder for 12 hours. The series is dark but interesting at the same time, however, it involves depiction of violence. The TV Series and the first 2 movies of Purge are available in Amazon Prime. The Purge TV Series has 2 seasons so far, each season having 10 episodes each.
So, this is the first of our list for TV Series that you can watch while you are at home. This first list is more dark and violent thrillers. In the coming days we will list some more different genres of TV Series that you can binge watch.
