When it comes to using false lashes, unfortunately I am at a level which is far behind proficiency and I envy those who can use false lashes with an ease.
But does that mean I compromise with my look leaving my eyelashes unglamorous? Never. Instead I prefer to use Mascaras which can provide more volume to my natural eyelashes.
I have been using L’Oréal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara for last few months and let’s see how it performed.
Cost: MRP is 940 Indian Rupees for 2 X 6.5ml. (MRP, as mentioned on the product when I purchased.)
Description: The shade I bought is Black. This Product has both Primer and Mascara.
One side of the Product contains Primer. The Primer has hourglass shaped wand/ applicator.
Other side of the Product contains Mascara. The Mascara has curved wand/ applicator.
How Do I use this Product: Step 1 – I coat my eyelashes uniformly with the Primer. I double coat my eyelashes with Primer if I need more volume. I give it some time to settle – a minute or so.
Step 2 – I apply the Mascara on top of the Primer.
My Overall Experience about this Product: I consider my eyelashes as average and they do not have too much volume ☹. However, after I use this Product, my eyelashes look voluminous and even long.
I love the wands/ applicators, they are long and helps to cover my eyelashes without much effort. The curved wand helps to set/ curl my eyelashes.
The look I achieve after using this Product is glamourous and it is certainly not subtle.
However, I have to admit that my eyelashes become a bit stiff. Also, this Product is not waterproof.
Other Comments: In order to avoid clumping, I get rid of the excess product from the eyelashes after each step. To get rid of the excess product I simply glide respective applicators one or two times extra from root to tip after each application.
My Rating: 4.1 out 5.
