Indian Web Television Series are getting popular on the OTT Platforms these days and Netflix, Hotstar and Amazon Prime are all jumping in the new era with some amazing TV Series.
In this article, we will talk about some Indian Thrillers in Hindi, that are available in Amazon Prime. They all have subtitles as well, so, you can still enjoy them if you are not too familiar with the Hindi Language.
Paatal Lok: Probably the best Indian Crime/ Thiller Series that I have watched so far. When a renowned journalist is attempted for murder, the case goes to an inspector who have been handling smaller crimes so far. He latches on to this high-profile case, and his investigation reveals various aspects of this country. This is nowhere a kind of thriller where the hero has fancy weapons or acts almost with super-human powers. Here, the inspector is a real as possible, but his willingness to find out the truth makes him memorable. Watch this 9 episodes Series if you are in the mood for a binge watch for a couple of days.
Mirzapur: The story of a crime family in a small town in Uttar Pradesh sets the backdrop of this Series. This Series is eventful and keeps its pace throughout. The flipside for this Series though is that it ended the Season 1 with a high and keeps you eager to know what happens next and it’s been 1 year and 8 months since then and Season 2 has still not been aired. If you want to binge watch, my suggestion would be to wait for a few more days till Season 2 is loaded in Amazon Prime. 😊
The Family Man: This one is a Spy Thriller starring Manoj Bajpayee involving a terrorist attack. It is directed by the Stellar Duo of Raj and DK who directed “Shor in the City” and “Go Goa Gone”. The first 7 episodes of the show are brilliant, however slightly loses steam in the last 3 episodes. Similar to Mirzapur, this one also ends in a cliffhanger and 2nd Season is yet to be aired.
Breathe: Breathe so far has 2 Seasons. The first one had Madhavan in the lead and 2nd one has Abhishek Bachchan. Both the Seasons are pretty good and IMDB rating of 8.4 can vouch for that. Both the Seasons have plenty of twists and turns to keep you glued to the screen and some good acting helps in the cause. Both the Seasons are stand-alone ones, so you can watch each independently. In fact, you can start with Season 2 and then watch Season 1. 😊
